Modular Mock Module :- 5

Modular Mock
Module: - 5
Technical Skill: -
1.  What is exchange server?
Microsoft Exchange Server is calendaring software, a mail server and contact manager developed by Microsoft. It is a server program that runs on Windows Server and is part of the Microsoft Servers line of products. Windows Messaging, initially also called Microsoft Exchange, is an e-mail client that was included with Windows 95 (beginning with OSR2), 98 and Windows NT 4.0.
2. What is SQL injection?
SQL injection is a code injection technique, used to attack data-driven applications, in which malicious SQL statements are inserted into an entry field for execution (e.g. to dump the database contents to the attacker).
3. What is cloud computing?
Cloud computing is computing in which large groups of remote servers are networked to allow centralized data storage and online access to computer services or resources. Clouds can be classified as public, private or hybrid.
5. Explain different cloud models?
·         Public Cloud Model: - The Public Cloud Model allows systems and services to be easily accessible to general public. e.g. Google, Amazon, Microsoft offers cloud services via internet.
·         Private Cloud Model: - The Private Cloud allows systems and services to be accessible within an organization. The Private Cloud is operated only within a single organization. However, it may be managed internally or by third-party.
·         Hybrid Cloud Model: - The Hybrid Cloud is mixture of public and private cloud. Non Critical activities are performed using public cloud while the critical activities are performed using private cloud.
·         Community Cloud Model: - The Community Cloud allows system and services to be accessible by group of organizations. It shares the infrastructure between several organizations from a specific community. It may be managed internally or by the third-party.
6. Name any 3 cloud storage service providers.
1. OneDrive or Skydrive
2. Google Drive
3. Drop Box

Soft Skills: -
1.      Do you have any work experience? If yes tell me something about it?
It should have the following points: -
·         Full name of the organization
·         Designation
·         Tenure
·         Major responsibilities
2.      Guide me how to reach Jetking from your home?
Kindly write the appropriate pointers.
3.      Tell me something more about yourself?
You can talk about the following points: -
·         Family
·         Personality
·         Career objective

Modular Mock Module :. 4

Modular Mock
Module: - 4
Technical Skill: -
1.      What is NAT?
In computer networking, network address translation (NAT) provides a method of modifying network address information in Internet Protocol (IP) datagram packet headers while they are in transit across a traffic routing device for the purpose of remapping one IP address space into another. The term NAT44 is sometimes used to more specifically indicate mapping between two IPv4 addresses; this is the typical case while IPv4 carries the majority of traffic on the Internet. NAT64 refers to the mapping of an IPv4 address to an IPv6 address, or vice versa.
2.      What is frame relay?
Frame relay is a standardized wide area network technology that specifies the physical and logical link layers of digital telecommunications channels using a packet switching methodology.
3.      What is the difference between IPv4 address and IPv6 address?
IPv4
IPv6
Addresses are 32 bits (4 bytes) in length.
Addresses are 128 bits (16 bytes) in length
Address (A) resource records in DNS to map host names to IPv4 addresses.
Address (AAAA) resource records in DNS to map host names to IPv6 addresses.
IPsec is optional and should be supported externally
IPsec support is not optional
Broadcast addresses are used to send traffic to all nodes on a subnet.
IPv6 uses a link-local scope all-nodes multicast address.
Header includes a checksum.
Header does not include a checksum.

4.      What is subnetting?
Subnetting is a method for getting the most out of the limited 32-bit IPv4 addressing space and reducing the size of the routing tables in a large internetwork. With any address class, Subnetting provides a means of allocating a part of the host address space to network addresses, which lets you have more networks
5.      What is the command to check IP address in Linux Operating System?
Ifconfig

6.      Name partitions that we create while installing Linux Operating systems.
Three partitions need to create i.e root, boot and /.
7.      List basic components we require to setup a network.
    Workstations
    Hub
    Switches
    Cables and connectors
    Router
    Modem
8.      What is the use of VMware workstation?

·         Ease movement and migration of entire systems
·         Simplify large-scale deployment of a common system configuration;
·         Quickly restore to a particular state in the event of a system failure, program-installation, or virus infection or other issue (notice: you still need to have a snapshot/copy of your VM stored somewhere safe, but it is as simple as copying a directory with a few files in it -- I burn DVDs with my VM images for safe keeping);
·         Reduce the number of physical machines that are sitting in your home or office sucking electricity, taking up space, and producing excess heat.
·         Easily test new programs and/or OS's, especially with pre-built "appliance" VMs and/or ISO-Images (see my prior post on Linux Live CDs that discusses running bootable-ISO images in VMWare).

Soft Skills: -
1.      What do you like to do in your free time?

·         Try to co-relate that how this activities is useful for your career
·         Give some practical example to support your answer for e.g. if you say you like surfing on internet then name 4 or 5 websites name that you generally surf.

2.      According to you what is your strength?

·         Must have some professional relevance i.e. the interviewer should be able to relate them with his company’s benefits. Give examples to support your answer
·         Try to explain in 2 mins that how this activity will be beneficial for the organization

3.      What is your weakness?

·         Define your weakness a little tactfully so that your weakness becomes a strength for an employer.
·         Even if the weakness start on a negative note must end on a positive note.
