Most important question of Pc Hardware

Memory
Ø  Flash memory is Non Volatile memory.
Ø  DDR operate in 1.8 volts.
Ø  The EEPROM memory is an electrically programmable device.
Ø  One long beep and 3 short beeps signal Video Error.
Ø  RDRAM is the fastest memory.
Ø  Hyper threading enables a single processor to work as two logically different processor.
Ø  Core i7 processor is the latest processor available in the market.
Ø  Volatile memory stores data temporarily.
Ø  PROM uses ultraviolet rays to remove the program.
Ø  Data rate of RAM can be increased by the technique known as DUAL CHANNEL.

Motherboard
Ø  CNR stand for Communication and Network Riser.
Ø  Server Motherboard support expansion and future upgrades and can handle major application.
Ø  DMI is the dedicated Bus used to communicate between Northbridge.
Ø  CNR slot has two rows of 30 Pins.
Ø  The EEPROM memory is an electrically programmable device.
Ø  Chipset is group of IC.
Ø  Most memory slots are DIMM type.

Hard disk
Ø  A partition of hard disk that functions as a separate unit of storage is called as partition.
Ø  In jumper setting MA stand for Master.
Ø  SATA interface cable is 7 Pins.
Ø  The platters are round disk that are made up of metal or Glass.
Ø  Air Filter in the hard disk cleans the air that circulates in the hard disk.
Ø  You can connect Two  Hard disk to a single controller using PATA.
Ø  Data transmission rate of SATA III is 6GB/s.
Ø  The SATA Hard disk speed of up to 500 MB/s.
Ø  Now a day HDDs are available from 160 to 4TB.
Ø  IDE HDDs are connected to the part on the motherboard using a 40/80 pin Conductor cable.

Assembling and Dissembling
Ø   Anti-static wrist strap is used to disperse static electricity from your body.
Ø  Zero insertion force ZIF stand for.
Ø  Heat sink is connected to Processor in a computer.
Ø  At time of assembling a pc, first install SMPS component in cabinet.
Ø  At time of dissembling a pc, first remove cable and connector from the cabinet.
Ø  The ZIF socket uses a Lever that makes it simpler and safer to install the microprocessor in the motherboard
Ø  System cases have two covers. They are left and right.
Ø  SATA power connector is a 15 pin connector.
Ø  Jumpers are small pins used to configure motherboard setting.
Ø  SATA drives do not requires the use of jumpers to configure it.
Optical Disk Drive
Ø  4.5 GB is capacity of DVD?
Ø  Glass surface is not a part of DVD driver.
Ø  25 GB capacity of single layered Blue ray disc.
Ø  150 KB/s is the Original speed of CD drive denoted by X.
Ø  For blue ray 4.5 MB/s is value of 1X.
Ø  RPM stand for Revolution per minute.
Ø  Fire wire also known as IEEE1394.
Ø  Recording media I made up of a magnetic material such as Iron Oxide.
Ø  The normal operating temperature of the hard disk ranges between 50 to 550 degree Celsius.
Ø  SMART is designed by IBM and was created to monitor the disk statics by using various methods and devices.
